My dad was just in Moultrie for his aunt's funeral. He took this photo of a
memorial to my friend Emil Friedlander's ancestor. My grandmother worked in
this store as a cashier. I think it was her first job out of the farm and
allowed her to save enough $ to move to Jacksonville where she met my
grandfather.

Impeller Heads
I won a sprint boat ride raffle at the New Centerville, ID 4th of July celebration. Elmer from Tsunami Racing gave be a ride in his boat around the pond. I'm glad the VFD added this event to the festivities. They also exhibited the traditional snow machine pond run shenanigans. Music credit: Atlas by Battles.

Obama rocked it
Obama rocked it. It was worth getting up at 5 AM and waiting in the cold for two hours. 14,000 people crammed into the arena. "People would come to me and whisper 'Barack, I'm a Republican' and I would whisper back, 'Nice to meet you, why are we whispering?'"
